A brand needing no introduction, but we’re going to give one anyway.

Founded in 1974 by American, Mike Sinyard after a bike trip to Europe, Specialized started off humbly, importing Italian bicycles and components yet to have reached the US market. In the mid 70’s they manufactured their own components and by the early 80’s, production of two of their most iconic frames began, the Allez and the Stumpjumper. The early 90’s saw the introduction of carbon fibre to the lineup, with the equally iconic Epic. In the years since, through innovation, very clever design and a formidable reputation among those in the know, Specialized have steadily climbed to the top of the world of cycling.

Luckily, while Mike sold his VW bus to fund the beginning of the Specialized brand, it wasn’t a requirement for us to start selling them. Thank you Specialized!
